Salutation to NeeLa Devi for Dayaa
Swami Desikan salutes NeeLa Devi (Nappinnai) for her kindness
(through her side glances on Her devotees), to cover Lord’s eyes
through Her enchanting glances that intoxicates Her Lord. In this
intoxication, Lord cannot see the DhOshams of His devotees. Lord
Srinivasa acts as though he cannot see just to please NeeLa Devi
(the word bhavitam in this shloka explains that). Ultimately Lord is not
seeing the dhOshams of His devotees.
This is the only shlokam where the word Dayaa is not being mentioned.
