Salutation to Bhooma Devi for Dayaa
Swami Desikan salutes Bhooma Devi who sits in the left side of Lord
for her kindness in removing all obstacles that come in the way of
Lord’s Dayaa to us. The mistakes caused by our ignorance provide
obstacles in receiving Lord’s Dayaa. It’s Bhooma Devi who removes
such obstacles and let Lord’s Dayaa flow towards us. The word
Kshamai describes her quality. Hence Swami Desikan Salutes
Bhooma devi.
It is to be noted here that Swami Desikan is clear in the order in
which he salutes.
