Dayaa Devi commands Lord Srinivasa to be the ultimate protector of world

Swami Desikan describes in this Shloka the duty of Lord Srinivasa
under the influence of Dayaa Devi, as perfect protector of this
universe. The highest of dEvAs is BrahmA who was created to
preserve vEdAs and create this entire world. Even brahmA at one
point lost the vEdAs to HyagrIvan and Lord Srinvasa has to rescue the
vEdAs from him and give it back to BrahmAs so that BrahmA can
continue his duties. Hence the fortunate individuals with
discriminating intellects will seek Lord Srinivasa.
