Dayaa Devi to conquer the sinner and place infront of Lord

Here Swami Desikan lowers himself as the king of country with sinners
and wrong doers as citizens, just to portray the higher quality of
Dayaa Devi. Dayaa Devi is the Empress presiding over Lord’s
ananthakalyANa GuNams. Swami Desikan says such Empress must
conquer him (king of sinners), arrest him and take him as prisoner of
war to the lotus feet of Lord of ThiruvEnkatam. Such is the prayer to
Dayaa Devi in this Shloka. From Shloka 26 to Shloka 30, Dayaa Devi
has been described as someone as who will remove our sins and
take us to the Lotus feet of Lord.
