Intellects seek Dayaa Devi for her sole quality - Dayaa

Lord Srinivasa is Swathanthiran which means He Protects the good
and Punishes the bad. But Lord Desikan says, Dayaa Devi knows
only to Protect through her Dayaa and she does not know anything
about punishing. Hence the intellects seek refuge only in Dayaa Devi
for their protection. Avikalpam Anugraham is Dayaa Devi’s quality of
full of mercy and She does not know anything about nigraham
(punishing).
