Dayaa Devi receives those who performed Prapathi

Vedas are like big city with lots and lots of things to purchase from
depending upon what you look for (Ishwaryam, Kaivalyam,
Moksham). To reach that city there are four ways – Dharmam,
Artham, KAmam and Moksham. Dayaa Devi stands in the four way
junction waiting for chEthanams to arrive at her. Those who have
done Bharanyasam are taking the path of MOksham by wrapping
up their sins in the vatsaram of SaranAgathi and bringing as
naivEdyam to Dayaa Devi. Fully knowing what is the naivEdyam,
Dayaa Devi welcomes them without looking inside the naivEdyam.
Dayaa Devi is intoxicated by the act of BharanyAsam and hence
she ignores to see what is inside (the Sins).
Seeing this action, others and Lord wonder why such as mercy on
people who take SaranAgathi. Only the learned can understand this
action.
One can note that in ThirumalA, they offer ChithrAnnams in vessel
covered with vathsaram (cloth) with devotion. Lord accepts that
offering as naivEdyam gladly. Swami desikan beautifully compares
such an act with the process of BharanyAsam – offerring of
NeivEdyam with vathsram.
Here it is important to note that Swami Desikan gives greatest
importance to SharanAgathi and emphasizes that it is easiest path to
obtain MOkshAnubhavam. This is how Swami Desikan reiterates the
importance of preachings of Swami RamAnuja.
