Dayaa Devi to expose Souseelyam of Lord Srinivasa
Lord Srinivasa possess the greatest quality of Souseelyam – treating
and mingling with everyone equally without differentiating as higher
or lower.
In RAmA avatAr, this Souseelyam was exhibited through his dealing
with Guhan, Sugreevan, and Sabari. Because Lord RAmA exhibited
Himself as human, this GunA shined well.
Guhan – Chief of hunters was declared as friend of Lord RAmA.
Sugreevan – This vAnarA king was declared as Lord RAmA’s dearest
friend.
Sabari – Because of her devotion she tasted every fruit to ensure its
sweetness before offering to Lord RAmA. Lord RAmA witnessed
her Moksham.
In KrishnA avatAr, this Souseelyam was shown openly as KrishnA
exhibited himself as Lord. His dealing with poor KusElA, hunch woman
Kubjai, colony of shepherds, and garland maker exhibited such a
GuNA.
KusElA – when poor KusElA approached Krishna with a request,
Krishna treated him with respect.
Kubjai – When hunch woman Kubjai who was taking Sandalwood
paste for Kamsa, applied on Lord Krishna, Krisha showed mercy and
made her hunch to disappear to become a beautiful girl.
Shepherds – Among all shepherds Krishna mingled as though He is
one among them.
Garland maker – In Mathura Krishna visited the house of garland
maker for Kamsa and honored him.
