Intelligent people understand results of good and bad deeds

Swami Desikan sets the tone in this Shloka, precisely the rules of the
game of life. Any king or wealthy person in this world will favor those
who does a good job and punishes the bad person or act against
those who do bad things. Lord of Srinivasa is not exception to this
rule. Only difference is the Dayaa Devi makes this cycle of likes-
dislikes with chEthanams only with a goal of correcting them to take
the righteous path. Intelligent people understand this cycle.
Those who understand this very well, will have faith on Lord Srinivasa
that He will never give up on them. Swami Desikan clearly sets the
ground rule of SharanAgathi in this Shloka. There are three important
rules for observing SharanAgathi.

1. To strictly follow what is set by Lord Srinivasa.
2. To strictly now follow what is not set by Lord Srinivasa.
3. To have strong faith in Him that He would never give up on us.
Attaining the state of SharanAgathi is having the utmost faith that He
will take care of everything and nothing is done by us.
