Prayers to Dayaa Devi to give us life
Swami Desikan prays to Dayaa Devi on our behalf to wake us up
from the unconscious stage as we are immersed in our sins. Our sins
can swallow in one gulp all the punyams earned by all the people.
Swami Desikan pleads to help us with her kindness like how She
gladdens the heart of Anjana GirinAthan. Swami Desikan skillfully
refers to Srinivasa PerumAL here as Anjana GirinAthan inferring how
Lord Hanuman brought herbs to save Lakshmanan and similarly
Dayaa Devi to save us from our unconscious stage.
