Dayaa Devi plunge the sufferings of chEthanams in the ocean of bliss

Swami Desikan says that Dayaa Devi takes the action of destroying
the fears of SamsAram and the suffering of the Jeevans. SAstras
define purifying holy bath (snAnam) called AgamarshaNam. When
anyone perform this type of snAnam in holy waters they clear their
sin. Likewisde with the help of Dayaa Devi if chEthanams plunge in
the blissful ocean of Lord of ThiruvEnkatam, their sins get removed
through the act of Prapathi. Swami Desikan here again gives
importance to Prapathi. Due to Prapathi he is assured of Moksham.
Until he attains Moksham, he worships Lord who is inside him as
Antharyami and engages in His service and live in bliss.
